After all these years, we’ve made our VERY FIRST ONE PIECE! 🎉
And if we were going to do it, we wanted to do it properly.
We didn't want to add a one piece just because we felt like we should have one.
It needed to earn its place in the Sheila May Swim family.
We wanted something comfortable enough to spend all day in. Supportive without wires. Feminine without feeling fussy. Enough coverage to feel confident, while still having a beautiful shape.
And most importantly, we wanted you to be able to put it on, look in the mirror and think:
Yep. I feel GOOD in this.
So, after lots of designing, tweaking and trying on, say hello to our Ruched One Piece.
Of course, the clue is in the name!
We’ve added beautiful ruching through the tummy, creating soft gathers across the front rather than fabric sitting completely flat against your body.
It's a little detail that makes a BIG difference to the way the swimsuit looks and feels on.
The ruching creates texture and shape through the middle and gives you that little bit of extra confidence around the tummy - without heavy compression or feeling like you've been squeezed into your swimmers.
Because comfortable will always win around here.
We’ve brought across some of the features you already know and love from our swim tops.
Inside you'll find our built-in shelf bra with sewn-in cups, giving you comfortable, wire-free support without removable cups wandering around inside your swimmers.
There are gentle gathers underneath the bust for a little extra shape, paired with a gorgeous deep V neckline that keeps the overall look feminine and flattering.
And the adjustable shoulder straps mean you can tweak the fit to suit you.
We haven't forgotten about the back either.
The Ruched One Piece has comfortable, moderate coverage across the bum - because while we wanted this style to feel a little more feminine and shaped, we still wanted it to feel like Sheila May.
