We took everything you loved about our original Shorties and turned up the comfort, coverage, and confidence. The result? Shorties Plus—an upgraded version with a slightly longer leg length and higher waistband, designed in direct response to feedback from our incredible Sheila May Swim community.
Still the perfect blend of activewear and swimwear, these shorts are made for movement. Whether you're chasing little ones, diving into waves, or smashing out a coastal walk, the longer leg helps keep everything in place (with less rolling and more coverage where you want it most). It also offers even better protection against chafing—especially on those hot, busy days.
And the waistband? Higher and comfier, just like our much-loved high-waisted bottoms. Say goodbye to muffin tops and hello to that ultra-flattering, supportive fit that holds you in just right.
The no-front-seam design stays smooth under fitted tops, while the back seam gives your booty a flattering little lift. It’s all the things you loved—plus the extras you asked for.

We use Australia Post to deliver your swimmers. Orders are dispatched from our warehouse in Altona North. Orders received by 12 noon business days will enjoy same day shipping!
International Orders:
Shipping fees do not include local taxes or import/custom duties, tariffs or any other additional costs for international orders. Any customs, import duties or tariffs are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information on potential charges prior to ordering. If such charges are applicable to your order and you do not wish to pay them, Sheila May Swim will not issue a refund or reimbursement for your order.
