International orders can take up to 4 weeks to arrive, however we are seeing faster delivery times in 2026 with most international orders arriving within 1-2 weeks!

Orders placed by 12 noon will be dispatched the same day! Otherwise, orders will be dispatched the following business day from our warehouse in Altona North, Victoria.

Please note that dispatch times may be longer during sale periods.

Once your order is on its way, you’ll get a tracking number in your confirmation email - just click, and you’ll be able to follow its journey to your doorstep!

We offer shipping protection to ensure your order is delivered to your address.

Once an order has been placed, Sheila May Swim will be 100% responsible for ensuring your order is fulfilled in a timely manner and handing the parcel over to Australia Post for delivery.

Australia Post will always take a photograph as Proof Of Delivery (POD). Shipping Protection covers your order right up until we have received the POD from Australia Post.

We offer shipping protection to our customers to ensure your parcel is not lost or damaged in transit. We strongly suggest you purchase shipping protection during the checkout process.

By deselecting shipping protection during checkout, you agree that Sheila May Swim is not liable for missing parcels once they have been recorded (POD) as delivered.

For customers in the USA:
Duties, tariff charges and import fees are covered by us. You won’t be asked to pay anything additional when your order arrives.

At the moment, we cover duties and taxes for USA customers only.

For other international destinations, customs fees (if applicable) are the responsibility of the customer.

For customers outside Australia, New Zealand and the USA:

Your order may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or handling fees when it arrives in your country. These charges are set by your local government and are the responsibility of the customer.

We don’t have control over these fees (we wish we did!) and they aren’t included in your shipping cost at checkout.

If you’re unsure what your country charges, we recommend checking with your local customs office before ordering.

Important – Return to Sender parcels: All Countries

If a parcel is returned to us because:

  • Duties or import fees were not paid
  • The parcel was unclaimed
  • The address provided was incorrect

Please note:

  • A $20 return fee will be applied to the order. This covers the charges we incur from our shipping provider when a parcel is returned to sender.
  • We are unable to reimburse the original postage cost.
  • Once the parcel has been received back to us, store credit will be issued.
  • Your store credit will be the order value minus the $20 return fee and the original postage cost.
  • We are unable to re-deliver a Return to Sender parcel. You’re welcome to use your store credit to place a new order with the correct shipping details.

We always recommend double-checking your shipping address at checkout and keeping an eye on tracking updates to avoid delays or return fees.

Returns

We want you to love your swimmers! If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can request an exchange or store credit through our Returns Portal.

International customers can return swimmers for store credit only.

Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in new condition (with tags and stickers attached). In the interests of hygiene, please ensure that swim bottoms are tried on over underwear.

Sales of items discounted by 25% or less can be returned for exchange or store credit.

For items discounted by 30% or more, returns are for store credit only.

Items purchased from the 'Last Pieces' category are final sale and are not eligible for exchange or store credit.

You can request a return within 30 days of your order being dispatched. We will only accept returns that have been lodged through our Returns Portal within this time frame.

  1. Visit our Returns Portal to initiate the return process.
  2. You’ll receive a prepaid return label for a flat rate of $13.99, which includes tracking.
  3. International returns (outside Australia) are the responsibility of the buyer for shipping costs. Please keep your tracking number handy.
  4. Carefully package your return and drop it off at your local post office.

We are excited to now offer Instant Exchanges! This allows us to send out your exchange item(s) straight away - even before we receive your return parcel!

To use this service, simply enter your credit card details in the returns portal, and the amount will be *held but not deducted (kind of like booking a hotel!).

*Please note that your returns label must be scanned at the post office within 14 days in order to avoid the charge on your credit card.

Instant Exchange is only available for orders within Australia.

Store credit will be issued via email once your return have been received and inspected. It can be used on any future purchase and has a 2-year expiry.

Please note that store credit is non-refundable.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. The return label can be purchased by Australian customers for $13.99 through our Returns Portal.

You can print your label at home or take the QR code to your post office and have them print the label for you.

Customers outside of Australia are responsible for arranging their own return postage.

Yes, but you will be responsible for buying the return postage. Please make sure to check return shipping costs before placing your order. We cannot provide return labels for international orders outside of Australia.

Overseas items can be returned for store credit only.

Totally -but with a little twist!

We offer one exchange per order, so if you’ve swapped your item once already and want to send the exchanged item back, no worries… it just becomes a store-credit-only return from here.

Your store credit lasts for two years and you can use it anytime you spot something you love.
