Meet the Sun Kissed Tee - the short-sleeved little sister to our much-loved Sun Kissed Rashie.
We wanted to create something for the days when you’d like a little more coverage across your shoulders and upper arms, but don’t necessarily want a full long-sleeved rashie.
Something lightweight.
Something comfortable.
Something you can swim in.
And, importantly, something that is REALLY easy to get on and off.
So we took everything we love about our Sun Kissed Rashie, shortened the sleeves and added a full-length front zip.
And the Sun Kissed Tee was born.
Sometimes you want more coverage than a traditional swim top gives you, without covering your entire arms.
The Sun Kissed Tee sits beautifully in that middle ground.
Its short sleeves give you extra coverage across your shoulders and upper arms - areas that can see plenty of sun when you’re spending hours at the beach or pool - while still feeling light and easy for warm summer days.

Unlike a traditional rashie that needs to be pulled over your head, the Sun Kissed Tee has a full-length zipper down the front.
Unzip it completely, pop your arms in, zip it up and you’re done.

And no trying to peel yourself out of a clingy swim top at the end of the day.
This can be particularly helpful if you have limited shoulder mobility or simply find overhead swimwear difficult to get in and out of.

The Sun Kissed Tee has been designed as a swim cover-up rather than a replacement for one of our supportive swim tops, so you can layer it over your favourite Sheila May top underneath.
That also gives you much more flexibility throughout the day.
Heading for a swim? Zip your Tee up.
Want to sit in the sun for a while? Keep it on for some extra coverage.
Want to take it off completely? You’ve already got your favourite supportive swim top underneath.

Now we have TWO Sun Kissed options, so which one is right for you?
If you love maximum arm coverage, our original Sun Kissed Rashie is still your girl. Its long sleeves give you more coverage through the arms and make it a great choice when you know you’ll be spending plenty of time outdoors.
If you prefer something lighter, want your lower arms uncovered or simply like the feel of a short-sleeved tee, choose the Sun Kissed Tee.
And if you want both?
Well… we're certainly not going to stop you. 😂
They serve slightly different purposes, which means you might find yourself reaching for each one on different days.

The Sun Kissed Tee is made from our beautiful swim fabric - 78% recycled nylon and 22% Lycra - so it’s designed to actually get wet.

At Sheila May Swim, we don't believe coverage should ever be about telling women they need to hide their bodies.
We just believe women should have options.
