Meet our Golden Girls 🧓🏻

I want to introduce you to some very special women.

A few months ago, 74-year-old Annie emailed me and said:

“toni, you’re missing the mark! younger mums aren’t the only ones with tummies. i’m 74, and women my age have what we call menopause tummies.

same issue. older demographic.”

I read it, smiled… and immediately replied:
“let’s do it, annie. have you got some friends?”

fast forward four months…

Annie arrived at our very first Golden Girls photoshoot with six of her book club friends in tow - and let me tell you, they absolutely stole the show.

This shoot had everything:
✨ endless laughter
✨ dancing on the beach
✨ yoga poses they brought from home
✨ energy that honestly put the rest of us to shame

I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve secretly done this before 😉

What I loved most?

these women didn’t come to “hide” their bodies.
they came to celebrate them.

no shrinking. no apologising.

just confidence, spark, and a whole lot of fun.

This shoot was a reminder of something we believe deeply at Sheila May Swim:

feeling good in swimmers doesn’t have an age limit.

confidence doesn’t expire.
joy doesn’t fade.
...and fun?

FUN IS FOREVER!

Very flattering

These bottoms are very flattering and comfortable. It’s nice to find bottoms that don’t accentuate my muffin top but rather go high enough that I don’t get one in the first place. The quality is amazing too.

Racer back Vintage patch

I am a 34 D (DD). This top has good support - just perfect. The pattern is really cute. I was also very happy with the length...it covers my belly and perfect with the matching bottom! LOVE the bottoms. High waisted with a little support in belly area. Really love the communication with this company. Sizing is tricky, but they are very helpful. The only issue is I'm in US and was considering exchanging for a little different pattern but the shipping back was $40 so I decided to keep the one I ordered. I guess I'll just have to order another! You should try out these suits. They are different and I think they'll last and wear well!!
